If you are looking for a haven for outdoor enthusiasts seeking adventure, relaxation, and stargazing, be sure to check out the park! In this scorching weather, we’ve got the perfect solution to keep you cool and comfortable while enjoying all that this breathtaking natural wonder has to offer – camping in a well-equipped trailer with air conditioning!

From leisurely walks along the riverbank to challenging uphill treks offering stunning vistas, there’s something for everyone. As you traverse the scenic trails, immerse yourself in the vibrant Texan wilderness, and don’t forget to capture those Instagram-worthy shots! We took a 5.5 mile round trip hike to capture views of the beautiful hill country, which was worth every step in the July heat!

We took advantage of the river access being so close to the campground and took a refreshing dip in the cool waters of Pedernales River. The park’s namesake, Pedernales Falls, presents a unique waterfall system, creating picturesque swimming holes. It’s the perfect way to cool off during those hot summer days in Texas!

The park’s remote location ensures minimal light pollution, making it a prime spot for stargazing. Unwind outside your trailer under a blanket of stars, and witness constellations and celestial wonders that city-dwellers seldom get to experience.

In the midst of a Texas summer, camping without air conditioning might not be everyone’s cup of tea. That’s where camping in a trailer comes to the rescue! Embrace the beauty of nature during the day, and retreat to your air-conditioned haven at night, allowing for a restful sleep and recharging for the next day’s adventures. We also brought a fan and mister to setup outside while we relaxed during the day with a book and took in the beautiful view from our campsite.
